Gel Wax

Penreco Versagel C is a premixed gel that is easy to use, all you need to do is heat it, add color and scent and pour!  Clear Gel is great for suspended decorative objects, wax chunks, marbles etc.  Use Liquid Dye to color the gel.  Fragrance Oils or Essential Oils can be added to scent.  Some fragrance oils and essential oils can cause your gel to become cloudy or discolored.  We have not tested our fragrance and essential oils for use in gel.  When wicking, use our Gel Wicks.  They have a special coating that will handle 210° F.  Always use a Thermometer when working with gel.  Never heat over 250° F.  This gel is mostly mineral oil and liquified gel can cause severe burns.  Please use caution when using this product.

Low Density
A very thin, easy to work with clear gel that's great for beginners and embedding paraffin wax or gel objects such as fruit slices and chunks. Use 1/2 oz. of fragrance per pound of gel or 3%.

A thicker gel (higher melting temperature) that will hold more fragrance and will suspend heavier embedded objects. Great for gel candles that will be shipped or burned in warmer climates. Use up to 1 oz. of fragrance per pound of gel or 7%.
